- Total Labor Cost:  

5 hours X $35 /hour = 175 CAD

- Overhead Expenses : Typically 30% of combined material and labor costs.  

Overhead = (250 + 175) \times 0.30 = 425 \times 0.30 = 127.50 

- Profit Margin : Aiming for a fair 20% profit.  

Profit= (250 + 175 + 127.50) \times 0.20 = 552.50 \times 0.20 = 110.50 

Final Cost Calculation

Adding everything together gives us:  

Final Cost = 250 + 175 + 127.50 + 110.50 = 663 CAD
